Flagship Cafes
Both of these cafes share owners with the Roastery.
Open Eye Café
Shares both building and owner with Carrboro Coffee Company. Opened originally by Scott Conary and Elizabeth Justus in 1997 in the space now occupied by Neal's Deli, it was the first best espresso bar in town, and quickly became known "Carrboro's Living Room." Offering a full selection of wine, beer, and teas, it now occupies the adjacent and much larger space on the corner of S. Greensboro and Roberson St. in Carrboro, yet retains the comfortable living-room feel. Many championship baristas have worked at Open Eye throughout the years
Caffè Driade
A beautiful Northern-Italian style shop, nestled in the woods near the Chapel Hill greenway (and accessible by a greenway trail) on the east side of town. It has provided Chapel Hill with the best cappuccino available, as well as a selection of teas, wine, beer, and cigars for 15 years in an unmatched outdoor setting with multiple patios and a massive garden.
